The new NFPW contest website is working well and will save time with entries.

Remember, the New Mexico deadline is Jan. 15; the national organization allowed NMPW an earlier deadline than the Jan. 27 date you will see on the contest site.

There is another variance to keep in mind. Those of you submitting books (Categories 56-64) or publications(Categories 15-16) have the option of sending hard copy, but you must send a check for $15 per entry to New Mexico Press Women to cover mailings to judges.

If you have an electronic copy of your book or publication, you can upload that to the contest site, and there will be no additional fee. The contest site will accept Word, jpg, pdf, URL and DVD.
