New Mexico Press Women is pleased to announce that the 2021 recipients of the Doris Gregory Memorial Scholarship are:

First Place ($1,000), Xavier Dominguez, who is studying Journalism and Mass Communication at New Mexico State University.

Runner-Up ($500), Sarah Roderick, who is studying Agricultural Communications, also at NMSU.

This year’s scholarships were also supported by donations from the Northern New Mexico Chapter in memory of Roslyn Pulitzer and Don Strel. Albuquerque Press Women and Friends also donated $250, and a number of other donors responded to an appeal on Giving Tuesday. NMPW is grateful for everyone’s support!
