Praise from conference attendees

“I had never attended a NMPW event before this, nor did I know much about the organization.  I was so glad I participated as it was great opportunity to learn about their mission, as well as the work of other communication professionals in New Mexico.”

Cheers!

“The beautiful, distraction-free setting of Ghost Ranch made the conference special. I especially enjoyed talking with other people about the work we do. We share the goal of reporting important events with sufficient context to make them understandable and in a way that is interesting enough to entice people to keep reading. Sharing our experiences and methods is helpful and encouraging. I’ll see you at next year’s conference!”

Hi Sherri,

I hope you are doing well after such an enormous expenditure of energy as Conference Chair. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience for all who were there. I’m sending the photos I took Saturday night, a little fuzzy but still good.

Sherri,

You did a fabulous job. Thank you again for getting us a room, the peanut butter cups and just everything you did. This ranks right up there with my all-time favorite NMPW conferences.

Hope you’re relaxing and being good to yourself.

Dear Sherri,

Although I told you this in person, I wanted to send written thanks for all your hard work in presenting the conference. It was excellent! I loved the speakers and their adventures in storytelling. It was a compelling topic and well-delivered. I also loved being at Ghost Ranch. Somehow, in the 8 years I lived in NM, going to NMSU and working in Albuquerque, I never made it to Abiquiu. It is so beautiful. It reminded me of why I fell in love with NM as an 11-year-old on vacation with her family from Indiana! Seeing O’Keeffe’s studio, just as she left it in the 1980s, was great, too, and I’m glad that my driving partner and I ended up on the same tour. Thanks again for your help with that.

Again, my sincere thanks for your hard work. It was a wonderful weekend, well worth the trip!

Sincerely,

Sandy Graham

Dear Sherri,

Just a note to say thank you for all you did to make the NMPW banquet a success. I know from experience

how much goes into coordinating these events, and your efforts are much appreciated!

All the best,
