You can join just our state organization, New Mexico Press Women (NMPW), or both NMPW and our national organization, National Federation of Press Women (NFPW). When you join both NFPW and NMPW, you have the opportunity to network on a national level and contest winners of our NMPW communications contest can enter the NFPW contest at a discounted fee.

Membership in NFPW and NMPW is a solid investment in your career, providing opportunities to develop your professional skills, receive recognition for your work, network with peers, protect the First Amendment, and nurture the next generation of communicators.

When you join NFPW, you must also join the state affiliate. Retired membership is available only to previous NFPW members. See details about national membership at the national organization’s webpage. Note: NMPW does not require work samples to be submitted with the application.

If you join between September and December, NMPW dues paid will cover the following year.
