This year’s conference provides the opportunity to find more outlets for your freelance work, learn about New Mexico In Depth’s creative model of news gathering and dissemination, hear from Major General Gwen Bingham of White Sands Missile Range about what it takes to be a woman rising through the ranks in a field dominated by men, celebrate our successes and honor our Communicator of Achievement. Of course, you can network and make lifetime friends who can support you in your professional endeavors.

In addition, if you arrive Friday, you can attend a play at New Mexico State University’s new Center for the Arts and after the conference, tour Spaceport America or soak in hot mineral springs.
